When it comes to choosing the right books for you to read, you must know what kind of humor do you have, you must not buy a book because you are forced by something or someone, for me, books are supposed to be enjoyed genuinely. I have A LOT of books at home, my room has turned to a library so i don't sleep there anymore, but if you will browse my shelves you will see that I'm a horror fan. i laugh when seeing GORE (*sorry if it makes you think of something that makes you gag.). well then after giving you a brief explanation on my part, let's proceed to finding yours. :)
I'll give you 3 easy steps to find your center ~~:)
STEP ONE: know your own "GENRE"
*first, open your laptop and search a few titles, there are a lot of websites that offers a "SEEK PEEK" to their products. Read those that interests you. If you find something that makes you wanna buy the book because it sparked your interest then that must be your genre!
PS: try this site, they give good previews and spoiler free! : http://nationalbookstore.com/
HERE ARE SOME OF MY SUGGESTED BOOKS FOR EVERY GENRE i have read:
for MYSTERY lovers, try: SAMMY KEYES series.
for ROMANTIC mysteries try my favorite and highly suggested : TWILIGHT SAGA.
ps: if you hate kristen's acting just read the book. it's more better that watching the movie and gagging till the end.
for horror and thrill seekers check these out and blow your mind!
for more suggestions please e-mail me with your genre and I'd be happy to write back with loads of book suggestions! trust me I've been a geek before!

STEP TWO: read more of your chosen genre.
*well i bet it's a lot easier now because you already know your "powers" (*just kidding). Even after finding yours, there will always be a case where you lose interest. It's not abnormal in anyway it's just you changing (*yes it's a part of puberty, but if you are 20 something and you still feel unsure about yourself.........consult a doctor, you might have some serious problems! .........joke!) well i have experienced that feeling, I'm reading the goosebumps series from R.L. stine then one day i found myself crying while reading the ending of BREAKING DAWN. It just change as you grow up, the secret is to find something you like again.
STEP THREE: Explore your horizons!
*You might really like reading the horror series your aunt gave you, but you are sadly trashing the mystery books your dad suggested. I'ts always nice to read different genres because there might be a chance that you might go LOCO over that new book you are reading. Chances are high. the risk is low, but the reward is greater! so next time you are in a bookstore and you see that one title whispering :" buy me and read me please~~~" don't ignore it, give it a chance! (*in case you are a VOLTURI member then it's okay not to give second chances! ........kidding again). NEW YORK TIMES might be a great help for those who wants to try new ones. here's the link: http://www.nytimes.com/best-sellers-books/overview.html.
